Planned to be quarterly.
■ MARCH SESSION: 100 ideas for eco-smart living in 100 minutes
One year from 311: rethinking energy starting from your home
The spring Green Leaders Forum begins with a talk session between Tomohiro Kimata from the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization and Reina Otsuka from the eco-lifestyle online store, Ecotwaza, looking at the green recovery in Tohoku and, more widely, at the shift in values and changes in ways of living in post-3/11 Japan.
One important aspect of the Tohoku recovery will be the rebuilding of the housing stock. Through an interactive workshop, you will have the opportunity to work together to design your own eco-smart living space and face the challenge of gathering 100 ideas for smart eco living in 100 minutes! Find out also how workshop organiser Peo Ekberg from One Planet Cafe reformed his apartment to reduce his energy usage by 50%!
