GOOD NEWS! Most of the program will be provided with English simultaneous translation

“Earthling 2011″ is coming up on July 30 and 31 at Keio University Hiyoshi Campus. This event was originally prepared for April 2nd, however the earthquake hit in March and was rescheduled. (A charity event took place instead)

The event is organized by a non-profit organization Think the Earth celebrating its tenth anniversary. Over 25 specialists will come on stage and each give a 15 minutes pitch on the theme of “The Future of EARTHLING” – the term itself is not identified by the organizors, and each presentater will give a presentation based on their own definition.

 The event will be in Japanese, however the whole event will be shared through  Ustream, and there will be an English channel too. The english channel will be consisted of  full simultaneous translation and back stage talk on what is being presented on stage.
